Welcome to Ron Durham Fitness

The vision and purpose of Ron Durham Fitness is to Teach you, Train you and Empower you to improve the length and quality of your life.

That means eating a healthy, balanced diet and exercising regularly. Not by relying on the latest gadgets, gizmos or gimmicks. Some might call that the old-fashioned way. I call it the only way.

That may not sound as exciting as a television infomercial that promises you can lose 100 pounds in a week without ever getting off the sofa, but lasting results do not come that easily.

Note that I said lasting results.

If you are serious about changing the shape of your body forever, it will take dedication and hard work on your part. There is no substitute. There are no shortcuts.

Fad diets prey on those who are desperate for a quick fix. While a radical diet may produce short-term results, most are impossible to maintain for a long period of time. Even worse, the results are usually short-term as well.

The key to changing your body shape forever is to change the way you eat and exercise. I know that's not too exciting, but it's the truth.

Choosing the right personal trainer is vital to your success. In essence, you and I are a team. If we're not shooting for the same goal, your progress will be hindered and your chances for success greatly diminished.
